Diageo elicited our services to oversee the project for new laptop deployment for their GB Global team at their 1HQ office, London. PDR IT devised a concise plan with the internal Diageo IT team and their third-party IT partner to ensure a smooth running of this deployment.
The roll out was a great success mainly due to the preparation of detailed information of steps for the user to administer prior to their replacement and what to expect on the day. A robust booking system was in place to ensure both parties knew who was coming which allowed for additional items to be ready in particular for the executive members of the team. Members of the senior leadership team required an additional task of backing their laptops up for legal hold, a backup plan was implemented and successfully deployed by providing robust backups that can be retrieved with ease.
A member from the PDR IT team was asked to cover their Tech Café for a week after conclusion of this project, this was a proud moment for us that Diageo trusted us to assist with looking after their team. This illustrates the success of this project, we all enjoyed working with Diageo.
